The School Play
Episode 2: Choices
Jacob got home from school and Jacob’s dad asked about school today.
Jacob told Dad about Mr. Young. Jacob: “What if I am just no good at making friends.”
Jacob’s Dad: “Were you good at making pancakes before you practiced?” Jacob: “No.”
Jacob’s Dad: “It takes practice to be good at anything. Mr. Young was right. You make new friends when you meet more people and spend more time with them.”
So now Jacob’s question was which after-school activity to choose. They talked about soccer and chorus and a school play.
The Wizard of Oz. Jacob knew right away, that was what Jacob wanted to do. The Wizard of Oz was Jacob’s favorite.
